Description: MDC controls every aspect of the design and construction process; from financing and permitting all the way through to the final landscape design and finishing touches. The combination of our own "In House" designer along with our management and construction teams makes our homes truly special. They are a reflection on us as a design firm; we don't want to be lumped into that group of standard Seattle builders. What makes our homes different is the way we choose to "finish" them. The difference is in the detail; from the excessive moldings, millwork and plumbing fixtures, to the premier tile and flooring selections, MDC uses only the best. Another example of this is our use of Viking Kitchen appliances and Marvin windows as part of our standard install in some of our previous projects. These are the things that the homebuyer is looking for in today's new construction. They are not finding it in the homes our competition is building, "We just choose to do things different." The result is a custom built home, with-in the Spec. Home market. As members of the MBA (Master Builders Assoc.) of King & Snohomish County, Maschmedt Design & Construction is certified and committed to design our homes "Built Green". We feel "Built Green" will be the new standard as to what consumers; the environment and the community want to see in new construction in the years to come.       |
